Dear Croton-Harmon School District
Community Members,
We want to thank all of you who voted in the recent school district election. We are very pleased to tell you that our school budget passed, 727 yes votes to 550 no votes. The vote on the state allocation of $539,975 for EXCEL Aid also passed 765 yes votes to 510 votes. All of the incumbents on the Board of Education will be returning to the Board in 2008-09 as the election for these seats was uncontested. Each candidate received over 800 votes which is truly supportive of the work of the Board of Education.
We want to thank you the Croton Teachers Association and the PTAs for placing ads in support of the 2008-9 school budget. We look forward to continuing our work on behalf of all of the students in our district and providing them with the very best education possible.
